We are excited to be back in 2023 and what better way to get back into the swing of things than company wide #training.
This week we were very lucky to have Tom Davies make the time and effort to visit our office and provide discipline specific training on the Datanest platform.
Datanest and its embedded Evalu8 module have been an incredibly useful tool in our day to day #engineering projects. As a business we are keen to adopt innovative ways to interpret and visual our #data to save time and improve our efficiency.
This week our teams learned about new ways to use the platform to interpret site investigation, computer modelling and contaminated land laboratory data.
Of particular interest our #geotechnical team learnt about new ways of easily visualising data such as settlement models and liquefaction effects through heat map site plans.
We had refresher training on interpreting #contaminatedland sample analysis and how to adopt the platform for our #landdevelopment projects. This included field mapping of site features through a mobile app and the visualisation of GIS layers such as flood maps.
We have been very lucky to be involved with Datanest from its launch and would like to thank Tom Davies and his team who are always on hand for help and support whenever we need it. This year we look forward to building on our new knowledge and putting it into practice.
